Hamas militants handed over Israeli hostages to Red Cross workers in Gaza City after a ceasefire agreement came into effect this morning. The IDF confirmed that Hamas handed over Romi Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher and Emily Damari, who were all kidnapped on 7 October 2023 during Hamas’s attack on southern Israel. The footage shows large crowds of fighters and civilians surrounding the vehicles with the hostages as they made their way out of the city and towards the border with Israel.
