Thousands of foreign students at Harvard university have begun seeking legal advice after the Trump administration blocked the historic ivy league institution from recruiting students from overseas.
The Massachusetts University, the oldest and most prestigious in the US, has been battling the Trump government over its refusal to scrap diversity programmes and disband pro-Palestine demonstrations.
The university took legal action against the government last month over its attempt to impose changes to its curriculum and admissions policies.
