Health Secretary Wes Streeting has warned the NHS will still struggle this winter despite government plans to pledge billions more in funding in Wednesday’s budget.
Mr Streeting accused the previous Conservative government of pushing the health service into its "worst crisis in history".
He said: "We will arrest the decline in the NHS and start turning the ship around."
