Health Secretary Wes Streeting will appear before MPs on the Health and Social Care Committee, expected to scrutinise the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan, including its ambition to shift care from hospital to community settings, and to move from sickness to prevention, and from analogue to digital.
While more than 26,000 resident doctors voted in favour of strike action with the British Medical Association claiming salary increases did not account for historical pay freezes.
