A funeral in the United States took a surprising turn when a helicopter dropped thousands of dollars on mourners.

The sons of 58-year-old Darrell Thomas, who died earlier this month, said they arranged the drop of cash and rose petals because he was a generous man who lived in Detroit’s east side. The event took place over a car cleaning business that Mr Thomas had owned.
