Hillsborough families speak after damning report published | Sky News coverage

Watch Sky News live coverage as the IOPC publishes a highly significant report into the actions of police before, during and after the 1989 Hillsborough Stadium disaster – which resulted in the deaths of 97 Liverpool fans and remains the most catastrophic event in British sporting history.

Today’s report is based on the largest independent investigation into alleged police misconduct and criminality ever carried out in England and Wales.

The investigation has taken more than 13 years – having first been launched in October 2012 – and is expected to provide the most detailed account to date of police actions, and provide answers which have been sought by survivors and their families for decades.
