Charlotte Hennessy, whose father was killed in the Hillsborough disaster, speaks at a news conference in Liverpool.
She says, "we will never truly know the full extent of South Yorkshire Police forces’ deception but there is no hiding, there is no destroying and there is no way to cover that they failed their duties and sort to blame the victims".
Hennessy says the police did not acknowledge their "exposed" failings but chose to "double down" and highlight "that some of their officers are now very elderly".
"Well our loved ones did not get to have that privilege," she adds.
