Rap singer and hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs went on trial in New York on Monday, accused of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Crowds gathered outside the Manhattan courthouse for the trial’s first day, where claims were heard that there is "another side" to the man recognised as one of the most powerful figures in the global music industry.
