Shabana Mahmood has been grilled over planned pro-Palestine protests that are still scheduled to take place this weekend, despite Thursday’s terror attack on a synagogue in Manchester.
Speaking on GB News, the Home Secretary said the language used by some pro-Palestine protesters was ‘utterly disgraceful’ and ‘fundamentally un-British’ and called for planned demonstrations to be cancelled.
Responding to her comments, host Cameron Walker replied: ‘What are you doing about it? What are you specifically doing about those fears from a Jewish community who say these kind of protests, which are still planned for this week, are making them feel unsafe in this country? You’re the Home Secretary. Your job is to keep British citizens safe.’
