Shabana Mahmood has told GB News she is working to fight the ‘rising tide of antisemitism’ in Britain following an attack at a synagogue in Manchester.
Speaking to Ellie Costello and Cameron Walker, the Home Secretary admitted she’d heard horror stories from British Jews ‘for months’, saying: ‘What I want to do is to reassure the community that this government will take the rising tide of antisemitism seriously.’
She added: ‘We don’t want our Jewish community here in Britain to have to live a smaller Jewish life because of the fear of antisemitism.’
