They said that they’ve seen a 33% increase since last year in the number of people rough sleeping in the city, but what happens to those who are able to get off the streets and into temporary accommodation?
Whitechapel said that the system is clogged up and despite the new government’s pledge to build 1.5 million homes, they’re sceptical over whether this will help the homeless population.
