Tarik Jasarevic, a spokesman for the World Health Organisation, said he "doesn’t know what is happening" at the Kamal Adwan Hospital, where there were reports of Israeli tanks firing on the building and IDF troops storming inside.
"Our teams were describing horrific scenes of hundreds of wounded people," he added.
