Cabinet minister Steve Reed has been speaking to Sky News about Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham’s leadership ambitions.
Kamali Melbourne asked Reed about Burnham’s comment that Labour cannot meet the country’s challenges under a "very factional and divisive" party leadership, and whether he agrees.
Reed said: "He’s entitled to his view. We’ve heard comments like this before. When Labour was in opposition, some people would take potshots at Keir Starmer. He picked the party up off the floor and led us to a record-breaking general election victory."
