Pensions secretary Mel Stride says that continuing strikes on merchant vessels by Houthis militants could impact global shipping costs, adding to inflation.
Mr Stride said there would be "many, many lessons to learn" on the Post Office scandal, but that the inquiry should be allowed to finish before conclusions are drawn.
