The US has declared the Houthis, who have been orchestrating attacks on ships in the Red Sea, are now labelled a terrorist organisation.
It comes as a ship in the Gulf of Aden came under attack on Wednesday from a bomb-carrying drone, the British military said, in a strike likely launched by Houthis.
