How assassination of Ecuador candidate could impact election | DW News

Ecuador has paid its last respects to the assassinated presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio. He was shot dead. Villavicencio was outspoken about corruption and alleged links between politics, big business, and organised crime. Six people have been arrested over his murder.
