Alluvi is the brand at the centre of the world’s biggest fake weight loss drug seizure, and it’s been playing TikTok.
Our investigation reveals how Alluvi, a major seller of counterfeit versions of the still-experimental drug retatrutide, managed to manipulate TikTok’s systems to silence critics.
Alluvi-linked accounts posed as legitimate influencers, by cloning their names and profile pictures, then reported the real ones as “fakes”, getting them banned.
When we shared our findings with TikTok, the platform shut down Alluvi’s official account.
