The Government says it plans to advise parents on how long children under five should spend looking at television or computer screens after new research into the impact of screen time.
Teachers and nursery staff have said toddlers are finding it harder to concentrate or hold conversations – while those who watch screens for the longest have a more limited vocabulary than their peers.
