The fragile ceasefire between Iran and Israel is appearing to hold for now, hours after Donald Trump said the two countries "don’t know what the f*** they’re doing."
He also said that both are guilty of breaking the early hours of the ceasefire which he announced on social media on Monday.
Speaking to media outside the White House before flying to a Nato summit in the Netherlands, Trump said Iran "violated it, but Israel violated it too".
He added: "I’m not happy with Israel. I’m not happy with Iran, either.”
Trump continued: "I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because of one rocket that didn’t land, that was shot perhaps by mistake."
Shortly after speaking to the media, he posted on Truth Social: "Israel is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!"
