Donald Trump is pushing to save the Gaza ceasefire that he helped broker. His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and special envoy Steve Witkoff traveled to Israel and met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This comes a day after Israel launched a series of deadly airstrikes in Gaza, which Israel said were a retaliation against Hamas attacks on Israeli troops. The latest US diplomatic intervention comes as relief agencies warn that the flood of aid as agreed in the truce agreement has yet to materialize.
