How sea mud could help fight climate change

Only yesterday the government was setting out yet more green initiatives.

But while pricey energy infrastructure projects may catch the eye – the evidence shows we should also be paying attention to something far more prosaic – mud.

Specifically, coastal mudflats, which are better at storing up carbon than forest, and which the UK is now the first country in the world to map.
