
The streets of Caracas were largely deserted in the aftermath of Maduro’s seizure, which has thrown the country into uncertainty. People in the capital have begun stockpiling food and other goods. Many say the US strikes came as a surprise – and they’re not sure what Maduro’s capture means for their future. DW’s Oscare Schlenker reports from the studio in Berlin.
