As Trump ramped up his threats against Iran, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper co-ordinated an online meeting of more than thirty countries to discuss how to end Iran’s chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian state media reported on Thursday that the country’s B1 bridge, which is under construction and reportedly the tallest bridge in the Middle East, had been attacked.
Two semi-officials news agencies reported that several people were killed.
Later, Trump posted video of a bridge collapsing on Truth Social and urged Iran to "make a deal".
Trump posted the footage on his social media platform, saying it was Iran’s biggest bridge and threatening “Much more to follow.”
It was not immediately clear if the footage Trump shared was of the B1 bridge.
