
Andrii Yermak, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s chief of staff, has stepped down. The resignation followed raids on Yermak’s home and office by anti-corruption authorities, though he is not officially a suspect in any ongoing investigation. Yermak was not only Ukraine’s lead negotiator in talks with the United States but also President Zelensky’s key political ally. His departure is another blow to the Ukrainian leader and could disrupt the current peace talks.
