HTS: ‘We will use legal and human rights professionals to prosecute Assad regime’

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or HTS swept Bashar Al-Assad from power at the weekend with its lightening quick offensive.

Obeida Arnaout, the head of the Syrian political bureau HTS, vows to close the infamous prisons where people were tortured and killed. He says they will remain a "dark memory of Assad’s criminal regime" and HTS plan to use human rights professionals to prosecute the regime.
