Hundreds gather in New York to protest Israel’s war in Gaza and Netanyahu’s visit

Dozens of protesters — including actress Susan Sarandon — were seen being detained by the New York Police Department this afternoon ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UN General Assembly.
