US President Joe Biden has said Hurricane Idalia is proof that climate change is already causing disasters around the world.
"I don’t think anybody can deny the impact of a climate crisis anymore," he told a news briefing.
"Historic floods, more intense droughts, extreme heat, significant wildfires have caused significant damage like we’ve never seen before.
"We’ve never seen this much fire."
