At Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin’s meeting in 2018, it was one question in particular that sent shockwaves around the world.
Jonathan Lemire, then a White House reporter and now a co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, asked Trump whether he trusted Vladimir Putin or his own intelligence agencies, who found evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Trump’s response made his own officials visibly squirm.
