When Maria Morgan was 16, she was handed a bundle of documents and told that everything she needed to know about her life was inside.
Maria had known from a young age that she was adopted as a baby, but had thought little about her birth parents until that day.
Reading through the papers in her bedroom, she found her birth certificate and her mother’s name – Catia Rimondi. Catia had given birth to Maria when she was just 16 years old.
As Maria read through more of the old documents, she came across something that would change her life forever – a newspaper clipping revealing her mother had been murdered.
