The sister of a girl wounded in the Southport attack begged her parents "don’t let her die" as she ran into her father’s arms following the incident, the public inquiry has been told.
In a victim impact statement to the hearing in Liverpool, the girls’ mother recounted how she had received a phone call from her husband, with his "voice urgent" telling her, "You need to get here now. The kids have been stabbed”.
