Nick Sortor has revealed how it took police 45 minutes after they arrested him to decided why they had done so.
The journalist was in Portland after President Trump called in the National Guard to protect a federal facility.
Speaking to Ben Leo on The Late Show Live, he said: ‘It took them about 45 minutes to determine what they wanted to charge me with. They were driving me down to the jail, had to pull over for about 45 minutes, while they were calling people back and forth. And finally they decided on disorderly conduct, which is saying a lot when you’ve got people screaming in the streets, setting off explosives, setting fires.’
