The International Court of Justice has ordered Israel to stop its military offensive in Rafah, Gaza. This comes after an emergency request from South Africa. The court has also ordered Israel to open the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza to allow humanitarian aid and said Israel must allow investigators access to Gaza and report back on its progress within a month.
In response, the Israeli finance minister says Israel won’t agree because "those who demand that the State of Israel stop the war, demand that it decree itself to cease to exist."
