Climate campaigner Greta Thunberg was one of a dozen activists aboard the Madleen, which set sail from Sicily on a mission aiming to break Israel’s sea blockade and deliver aid to Gaza.
The Israeli foreign ministry said that the boat is now instead "safely making its way to the shores of Israel".
