President Trump hosts a cabinet meeting following the agreement of the first stage of the peace deal between Israel and Hamas.

All of the hostages will be released "very soon", the US president said in a post on Truth Social, and Israel will withdraw its troops to an agreed-upon line, marking "the first steps toward a strong, durable, and everlasting peace".
