India invokes terrorism law after Delhi blast kills 8

Deadly blasts have struck India and Pakistan, with an anti-terror law being invoked after the explosion in Delhi.

The blast near the popular Red Fort landmark left at least eight people dead on Monday, as police say a car carrying three people exploded.

On Tuesday morning in Pakistan, a suspected suicide bombing outside a courthouse in Islamabad killed at least 12 people and wounded several others.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to bring those responsible for the blast in Delhi to justice, as the country has been put on high alert.

Pakistan’s interior minister said the bomber involved in the blast in Islamabad was planning to attack the district courthouse, but was unable to get inside.
