Indirect truce talks between Hamas and Israel resume in Doha

Hamas and Israel are reported to have resumed indirect talks in Qatar – aimed at agreeing a 60 day ceasefire along with the release of the hostages and Palestinian prisoners.

The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on his way to Washington to meet President Trump – repeating his opposition to any Gaza deal which would leave Hamas in power.
