FIFA president Gianni Infantino has apologised for joking about British football fans’ record of arrests at previous World Cups. In an exclusive interview, Infantino told Sky’s Yalda Hakim that his comment that the 2022 Qatar World Cup was the first where no Brits were arrested was meant to be "light-hearted".
