It follows concerns the young are dying from malnutrition — with vital foreign aid not getting through.
We spoke to mothers in the capital, Kabul, who are so poor they have to choose which child they can afford to feed.
Some children need hospital care, but their parents don’t have the money. Charities and doctors help where they can, but need more international support.
