Inside AI classes for Beijing's students and seniors | ITV News

At nine o’clock on a Monday morning, the year two students at Guangqumen Middle School in Beijing now receive a weekly AI art class.

The children are taught how the tech can transform ideas and words into images.

On the day we visited, they were turning pictures of lotus flowers into digital Monet-style watercolours.

From this year, all primary and secondary schools in China have been told to add AI lessons to their curriculum, and schools in the capital have made sure they are among the first to bring the study of artificial intelligence into Chinese classrooms.
