We report from inside the city, and look at how Ukrainian forces are trying to detect and destroy the Russian drones and where our team finds evidence civilians are being targeted, despite Russian claims they are not.
The UN says in the last 18 months, 200 civilians have been killed and 2,000 injured this way.
For all the talk of the Trump peace plan as Ukraine approaches Christmas there is little sign on the ground of an end. Trump may say the two sides are “closer than ever” to peace, but Putin shows no signs of compromise, vowing to continue taking territory by force.
