ITV News has filmed with a Palestinian family whose home in the occupied West Bank was bulldozed by the Israeli military, as tensions rise ahead of Israel’s general election.
The family told us they were given just two minutes to leave their property, at gunpoint, in Hebron, on Friday, before it was destroyed.
Around 3,000 Palestinians were evicted from their homes in the neighbourhood by Israel’s military, by Saturday.
It followed a gun attack at an Israeli checkpoint outside the city, earlier on Friday, which saw two Israeli soldiers shot dead and two Palestinian gunmen killed.
The shooting was seized upon by Israeli politicians, who promised a ferocious response ahead of elections this week.
