Inspector Moloy Campbell was injured while confronting Marcus Arduini Monzo, who will be sentenced today for the murder of 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin.
Marcus Arduini Monzo, 37, had gone into a cannabis-induced psychosis when he killed the teenager with a samurai sword in April last year, the Old Bailey heard.
Monzo was also convicted of three counts of attempted murder, wounding with intent, aggravated burglary, and possessing a bladed article.
