As President Trump declared it was his ‘great honour’ to destroy all of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, Iran said it would continue to defend what it called its ‘legitimate rights’.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military chief said he had already moved his focus back to Gaza ‘to bring home the hostages and topple Hamas’s rule’.
