Iran has sentenced Nobel laureate Narges Mohammadi to seven-and-a-half more years in prison, according to her lawyers.

The 53-year-old was arrested on December 12, for an initial three week period, after denouncing the death of a lawyer.
Tehran has been cracking down on dissent for weeks and thousands of protesters have been killed during the nationwide demonstrations.
