President Trump has told Iranians to keep protesting and that ‘help is on its way’. The Truth Social post comes as the regime imposed internet blackout enters its fifth day. But snapshots of what the Iranian authorities don’t want you to see continue to emerge.
Two weeks ago President Trump said if Iran killed protesters the US would come to their rescue with a raft of potential responses – from military to cyber attacks.
An Iranian official told Reuters the death toll was now 2,000, while rights groups say it could be much higher.
The US President has already deployed one of his signature weapons, slapping a 25% tariff on countries trading with Iran and deepening diplomatic tensions with its largest trading partner China.
