Iran’s foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi called the strikes "outrageous" and warned that there will be "everlasting consequences".
Speaking at a press conference in Turkey, the Iranian politician said: “The warmongering, a lawless administration in Washington is solely and fully responsible for the dangerous consequences and far reaching implications of its act of aggression”.
On Sunday morning, Sir Keir Starmer called Iran’s nuclear programme a "grave danger" and urged Iran to return to negotiations.
In a post on X, Abbas Araghchi replied: "How can Iran return to something it never left, let alone blew up?”
