Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised today for Iran’s attacks on neighbouring countries, suggesting it was the result of miscommunication in the ranks and insisted that it would stop from now on.

Pezeshkian said the country’s three-man leadership council had been in touch with the armed forces over the attacks. However, his statement aired after repeated attacks Saturday morning on Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
