Scottish nurse Sandie Peggie is taking action against her own union, the Royal College of Nursing.

She says her union reps didn’t support her when she was suspended for complaining about using the same changing room as her transgender colleague Dr Beth Upton.
This is her second tribunal. Previously a judge upheld a harassment claim against her employer NHS Fife arising from the same facts.
Her team said they can’t tell Channel 4 News who is funding the case for legal reasons but they did say it was a ‘left wing individual’.
JK Rowling’s office won’t confirm if she is financially backing her.
