Israel and Hezbollah agree on ceasefire

Thousands of people are returning to their homes in southern Lebanon after a ceasefire was agreed last night between Israel and Hezbollah.

The deal, brokered by the United States and France, means an initial 60-day halt to the fighting. The Lebanese prime minister said he hoped it would mark a "new page" for his country.
