Israel and Hezbollah in heaviest exchange of fire since November ceasefire

Israel has launched dozens of strikes on southern Lebanon – after several rockets were fired into Israel.

Lebanese officials said two people – including a child – were killed, while the Israeli military said it had hit a Hezbollah command centre and dozens of rocket launchers.

It’s the heaviest exchange of fire since a ceasefire was reached between Israel and Hezbollah at the end of November.
